Vesoul festival of Asian cinema to show ‘Farmer and Robot’

‘The Farmer and The Robot’ from Iran is competing at the 29th edition of the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema in France.

Directed by Abdollah Alimorad, ‘The Farmer and The Robot’ is competing in the Young Audience section.

In animation, a spacecraft is forced to land in a watermelon field after a cooling system breakdown.

The craft’s doors open and, as the robot heads towards a water pitcher to slake his thirst, a farmer and his donkey rush to the safety of the house.

The animation has been produced at the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults – Kanoon.

The official section of the festival will run until March 7.
